*News Update!* ~ October 10th 2007.
Halli's website is still under construction and will be online asap. Check back soon for the link!
I have chosen a loving, handsome and healthy OEB stud of similar lines for her first breeding this winter. Sampson is registered with IOEBA and lives in Tennessee with his owner Pamala Haycock. He is a proven producer of gorgeous, large, wrinkly pupppies. You can see his photo's here: http://www.southpawbulldogs.com/THE_STUDS.html
Puppies will be IOEBA registered with a written health guarantee. One male and one female are already reserved, so if you would like one of Halli's pups, please don't sit on the fence too long or you will be disappointed! I am very excited and can hardly wait for her first litter! These puppies will be big and wrinkly weighing anywhere from 75lbs to 90lbs plus. They require an indoor home, lots of love and regular exercise so please don't apply for a Halli/Sampson puppy if you are looking for a dog to live outside in a kennel.

As you can see, Halli is VERY healthy and quite active. She requires regular exercise and I let her run free on the mountain trails every day. I feed only human-grade meat, poultry, fish and vegetables with organic grain-free kibble and this works well for her. She has an efficient digestive system and does not suffer with gas! I found that rawhide was hard for her to digest (probably because she tends to swallow it in large soggy pieces!) and replaced it with uncooked beef marrow bones. The proof is in the pudding, NO GAS, and, well she sleeps on my bed every night, this says it all!
Halli is total balance in a dog. This loving, sweet-natured, snuggler that likes to make people laugh is also the loyal protector, guardian of her home and pack. Halli loves children of all ages - to her they are playmates and she is instinctively gentle with them, which is good to know because my own children are already young adults so she hasn't grown up around youngsters.
I love to talk about my dogs and share experiences, tips and ideas that may help others with their pets. I have owned and cared for many breeds/types of dogs and other animals in different parts of the world for 40 plus years, so please feel free to contact me any time and I'll be happy to share whatever I can.
*My Dream:*Currently, my pack and I, are looking for a suitable premises on Vancouver Island to facilitate both my Bulldog Breeding program and a Reiki Healing Sanctuary for our 4-legged friends.
At a very young age, I developed a deep understanding of dogs and their relationships with humans. In Bahrain where I grew up, in the late 60's and 70's, dogs were often discarded by careless owners to roam the desert until they would literally dehydrate and starve to death. Often they were captured first; beaten and tortured by unscrupulous humans who ironically believed the dog to be "dirty and nasty?"I learned that whatever emotional and physical pain these poor dogs had suffered, they would trust me fully and recognise when I tried to help them. The ones that were able to walk would follow me home. There is no question in my mind that all dogs love unconditionally and live FULLY in the present. If we choose, we can learn from them how to always be in the present just as they are, and not hold on to emotional trauma that hurts and make us resentful. Through sharing love with our canine companions, I believe we find an inner peace which is reflected in our outer world. Our dogs can help us gain a clearer understanding of relationships, not just with them (or other animals) but our relationship with our Self, with fellow humans from cultures and belief-systems different to our own. We can learn to respect and show compassion for ALL life. Dogs want to share their love with us. We don't need 'words' to communicate when love flows, we can simply "BE".
The sanctuary will not just be for healing animals, but for healing relationships between humans and animals, and humans and humans! I believe that when we heal our personal relationships, we vibrate on a positive level, full of joy, which radiates out from us and is reflected back to us.
